Birds, animals, and inanimate objects have considerable anthropomorphic qualities for me. As I work, I’m searching for the knowing spirit of each crow, raven, dog, and cat that I draw or paint. I see life too, in the objects that I work with. It’s always a two-way conversation, and as each subject reveals its essence, my own awareness is enhanced. I’m humbled and grateful for the spiritual synchronicity that arises. Each being presents its unique gift in this quiet search for the inside of the outside.
